Royal Caribbean International Statement regarding Dynamic Dining

Known as leaders in the cruise industry, Royal Caribbean continues to innovate the guest experience with the recent launch of our newest ship Quantum of the Seas. The introduction of Dynamic Dining on Quantum was designed to offer guests more choice, variety and flexibility in their dining experience.

Our new and loyal guests have provided valuable feedback and we have continued to refine and improve upon the Dynamic Dining experience. We have introduced new menu options in each of the four complimentary main dining venues offering even more variety. Staffing levels have been increased. There are more complimentary dining options for our guests and Devinly Decadence, formerly a specialty restaurant, is now available complimentary to our guests for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

For Quantum's sister ship Anthem of the Seas, debuting in April 2015, Royal Caribbean is further expanding on the Dynamic Dining concept offering a new “Classic” option for guests. This new feature will offer two set dinner seating times for our loyal guests who prefer a traditional cruise dining style. Dynamic Dining’s “Classic” option allows guests to rotate through each of the four main complimentary restaurants at an early- or a late-seating time throughout their cruise with their dining group and the same assigned waiter each evening. Dynamic Dining’s “Classic” dining option will be available for pre-booking early March.

As we continue to gather guest feedback we will evaluate ways to continue to elevate the Dynamic Dining experience to give our guests the choices and flexibility we know they desire. As we introduce Dynamic Dining to other ships in the fleet, further dates and details will be confirmed. "

Dynamic Dining to Classic on Anthem of the Seas

Michael Bayley and Vicki Freed conducted a question and answer session for travel agents on board the newly revitalized Freedom of the Seas on January 31, 2015. The first question was about dynamic dining on Quantum of the Seas mentioning how much clients dislike the dining concept. What is Royal Caribbean going to do about it? I was not prepared for this first question so I only got the answer recorded and here it is. There is no mention of it being called rotational dining as people on cruise critic have begun calling it. It does rotate through the 4 free venues but according to the President and CEO or RCI it is called "Classic". Seasoned travel and hospitality executive Michael Bayley was named President & CEO of Royal Caribbean International, the world's largest cruise brand in December 2014.

Dynamic Dining a Dynamic Switch?

Spreading Cruise News across the internet about
Royal Caribbean Dynamic Dining,

Vicki Freed, SVP of Sales and Trade Support & Services for Royal Caribbean announced to a group of travel agents on board Freedom of the Seas yesterday that Anthem of the Seas will have a "rotational dining" system instead of the Dynamic Dining just introduced on board Anthem's sister Ship, Quantum of the Seas. There was no mention if or when Quantum of the Seas will adopt a rotational system or if we will see it roll out to other ships like Oasis or Allure of the seas.
